JACK QUINN GAINS SUPPORT OF
GOVERNMENT REFORM ADVOCACY GROUPS
Quinn labeled as “Hero of Reform” by Bipartisan
Reform Group
(HAMBURG) – Assemblyman Jack Quinn, Republican candidate
for the 58th State Senate District, today announced that
two government reform advocacy groups are supporting his
candidacy. The reform groups include NY Uprising and Tea
New York.
“I am honored to be recognized as a ‘Hero of Reform’ by
NY Uprising. It was an easy decision for me to support
the reform measures proposed by this bipartisan group. I
share many of their reform goals in my Five Point Plan
for New York State. NY Uprising wants to take the
politics out of state government, which is something
that is desperately needed in Albany. At the end of the
day, I will always be supportive of the reform measures
that have the best interests of Western New York in
mind,” said Quinn.
New York Uprising is a non-partisan, independent
coalition formed by former New York City Mayor Edward
Koch that advocates for meaningful government reform
across New York State. Their mission is to put an end to
corruption in Albany and reinstate the public’s faith in
government by offering real, honest and sensible
solutions that legislators and candidates can implement,
adhere to and be held accountable for executing once
elected or re-elected to office.
Quinn also received the support of Tea New York, which
is a Western New York based grassroots organization.
Their primary objective aims to achieve government
reform, fiscal responsibility, smaller government, and a
free market economy.
“I am honored to have the support of Tea New York. We
certainly share in the same frustration on how our state
government operates. Together, we will work to take
Albany to task on their reckless spending and constant
reiterations that they are out of touch with everyday
families. We will fight to cap state spending and taxes,
and create private sector jobs. We will also bring
much-needed reform to our pension system, ethics laws
and to Medicaid,” said Quinn.
“My campaign is built on grassroots support from
government reform organizations like NY Uprising and Tea
New York. I welcome them to our campaign team and look
forward to exchanging ideas on how to get Western New
York back on track.”
